Default Guild Hall's Storage. Add Guild Bank.

This a petition for a Guild's Storage. This would be like the storage account for a single player but for the whole guild to access. My guild currently has one in the form of a character of one of the officer's slots. This get's very sad because we only have access when he is online and if he is not busy GvGing, ABing, or whatever he is doing at the time.
The Guild "Bank" as my guild has come to call it, would be storage, and then some. It would have increased size, for the whole guild. And hold more money, not that one person would be putting 1000k+ in that at one time.
Now because this is for the whole guild, a small guild will not be needed a very large one. My guess would be the the same size as a normal storage(20 items I believe) for 1 person in the Guild(it would be the leader). And 1 more additional slot for an item, and 1k more as the max money in the guild bank. This would cap at about 50 items and 1500k in the bank.

Now with all these items and money we can't have everyone have access to this. There would need to be like a limitation on who can use it. The guild leader can grant the ability to officers to limit access to the bank. The guild leader him or herself can also grant that ability. There would also be an ability to grant after a certian time after a Member is in the guild. So if Member A has been in the guild for 5 weeks, but isn't very trust worthy, his or her ability to use the Guild Bank can be taken away. But if Member B has only been in the guild 1 week but we can trust him or her, access to the guild bank can be given to him or her.

This would be one of the Guild Hall's services but would not cost 100k. It would cost 200k. 2 payments of 100k. Not that hard.

Thanks for reading!

Knowing how A-net likes to play with us, this will be some sort of Xunanli (sp?) quest like in factions. Then you must deicde if your guild storage will be allianced with your personal storage or not, and then you can only access it when your country has favor.

Well personally, if the storage is as Nilator described...I wouldn't put a thing in it.

ok if that is the case they would have done it by now. They are giving us what they say they are giving us. Just sell your crap to the merchant geez. Guild Storage wtf. You give it to your guildie, if not, then you sell it or keep it. Stop asking for more space to put junk. I think the slots they are offering is just enough for 80% of the players.

I dont completely understand A-net language yet but I'm pretty sure that when they say a few weeks they mean 8 months.

And as the idea, it has been suggested before and its not needed and will be abused. Are you always gonna guess who's "trustworthy" and who's not? Someone who is allowed to access it and wants to leave the guild might take everything and go.

How is having guild storage any different to personal storage, exactly what will you put in there? More personal storage would be better.
What would be the point in a storage that a whole guild can access? So someone can "borrow" your fellblade for mission? Or hold your customised armour for a while. There is no point.
We need personal storage not something that can be abused in so many ways. (see above post)

p.s the material vault is a good start

You guys are missing the point of this. This doesn't mean put your 15^50 req 8 fellblade in it. It is for like, you have some extra cloth, someone in your guild might need it. Put it in the bank.

This isn't a selfish thing for more storage for yourself. This is so that the guild can have a communal storage where everyone can contribute and everyone can take some stuff out when they need it

i like it because many times i might have something to donate... but the guild mules are not on, or even extra cash to give i can stick it there, although will have to pretty much monitor it, or even better have a transaction list of items that the guild leader can view so if someone is leeching kick um... kinda stink if they would guild hop and rob people though....

well a good reason why this isn't in is the point that an officer can not only kick members but if this was implimented then they could steal all your gold and items you've put in.

My guild got attacked by someone kicking all the our members out we did recover from this luckily so if you reading this "ha ha"

if you want to donate something just ask who needs materials, chances are they may sell it but its the same senario with this idea.

so from the experiance of someone trying to reck your guild this is /Notsigned

You will only not want this is if its happened to you trust me on this

Well I think that anything I out in there I dont need so I would not care who in the guild took it.....

I submitted a post aslo for an idea of Guild Mail.... to leave an item or two in a mailbox for a guild mate..... I thought that was a good idea

people just arent trustable enough. One thing this would need to work is a log to say who put in and took out what (otherwise anyone "trustable" could just take something (or everything) and no one whould know who did it).
There are many solutions to storage but this one would only work in a perfect world as it is, unless you could put items in and have a setting where it does not allow anyone else to take it (which kindda defeats this ideas main purpose).

as is it seems waaay too exploitable

Just throwing an idea out there, what if the items taken out of storage were 'customised' as guild items. Meaning that you couldn't sell it to the merchant, and if you left the guild the items returned to the storage. Only the origional owner could reeove them as their own. As for materials you shouldn't be able to merchant them but you should be able to use them for armor. Oh, and no trading them to non guildies.

Any thoughts on that? any problems you can see?

EDIT: Just had another idea, if the person wants the item back, they should be able to press a button and retrieve it from a person using it so long as they are not in an explorable area. This would stop people grabbing items out of storage and holding them 'hostage'

I think that griffonclaw has a good idea on the customized thing, and I totally agree with the guild storage thing because then if you ran out of area in personal storage, than you could go to the guild storage! and about the customized thing, maybe it could be that it was customized for the person who put it in there unless they specified that it wasn't to be customized for them.

/signed for extra junk you aren't going to worry about or trip off of if anyone else takes it. I've got more bones, feathers, putrid cysts, plague idols and other crap that I don't need but can't seem to bring myself to get rid of. I know other guild members might like to have it.

This would be a great way to share common items with guild members.

Guild storage is the most retarded concept ever produced. There's no point. If you are in a guild where you loan items, then ffs, loan the item out personally at your own discretion and don't expect to get it back either. The system is fine the way it is, unless you really want people shoving stuff into an additional storage and getting that robbed constantly.

I get not a single clue about what he tried to say

In this case, the biggest thief (exploiter) would be the guild leader himself since he can take whatever he likes.

Anyway, I don't like the idea at all. I would prefer extra slots for personal storage, which is much more safer.

Therefore,
